The Meaning of Our Logo
George Washington, the Founding Fathers and all those that fought for, and many times died for, America in establishing the nation left us with a legacy that we must protect for ALL, forever. Since the founding of the Nation and today many Americans have followed in their footsteps serving and sometimes dying for our country. The image of George Washington holding today’s American flag represents the continuity of the Constitution’s success in providing Liberty and the pursuit of happiness for us, the posterity of George Washington and the founding fathers, and all those that followed. The word “Interdependency” reflects the key attribute necessary to achieve the goal of the motto of the United States - “E Pluribus Unum (out of many one)”.
The oft quoted excerpt from Washington’s farewell address is especially appropriate for the Great American Evolution’s attempt to minimize the effects of destructive partisan politics in America:
“However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people, and to usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines, which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”
