Make America better than it ever was with Liberty, Respect, Opportunity, Safety and Justice for ALL, forever
Make America Better – This is not the same as change America. Change that we control can make things better, keep things neutral or make things worse. Making America better is the responsibility of all Americans. The improvements must come from the people by electing responsible representatives who will always be responsible to ALL America and not just to their respective political parties.
Than it ever was – America has always been great, but its greatness has evolved, and ebbed and flowed over the years. Some periods had serious flaws that needed correcting and were corrected or are in process of being corrected. We need to have a goal without a ceiling “better than it ever was” frees us from limits. Let’s soar with the eagles.
With Liberty - First we need Liberty for ALL. True Liberty will allow ALL American citizens to pursue their dreams, walk their streets and live in their homes without fear. We ALL have a responsibility to serve and protect our communities in any way we can while we live our lives and raise our families. Liberty must be protected from those who will try to take it away.
Respect – Our country was founded on the principle that citizens can think, worship, speak and raise families without fear of reprisal, persecution or punishment. Accordingly, respect and tolerance of ALL citizens is critical to the health of the country.
Opportunity –We must recognize that what is important is to provide ALL with Opportunity. People make choices. Some will make choices to embrace the opportunity provided and contribute to America. Others will squander the opportunity. Quality education is one of the most important enablers of opportunity and should be accessible to ALL.
Safety – We ALL need to feel safe and secure. We will ALL need assistance from America some time during our lives. The assistance required may be as a result of criminal activity, natural or man-made disasters as well as personal crises such as health, emotional or financial. Additionally, America must provide for the common defense.
And Justice – We ALL have a duty to live within the established laws of the United States. ALL of us need to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. There must be equal justice for ALL under the law. Punishment, if necessary, should be commensurate with the offence and the same for ALL.
For ALL – We are the United States of America. We depend on each other. We must pull together and stand united.
Forever – We have an obligation to secure the Blessings of Liberty to our Posterity. Decisions made today will impact the future of Liberty in the United States and the World.
